Six week programme building understanding and insight into Te Ao Māori.  Starting 22 Feb. 22

  • Are you an individual who wants to have confidence in conversing in basic Te Reo Māori?
  • Does your team want to be more appreciative of wider cultural diversity and values?
  • As a leader do you want to model increasing diversity in the workplace?

We are providing a six-week informative and relaxed introductory course to begin your journey of knowledge and insight into Te Ao Māori (Māori world-view).  Alongside others, you will build understanding of basic Te Ao Māori principles and values and learn how this knowledge and practice can strengthen your self-place and your work-place.  You will become confident in speaking your pēpeha (your connections, whanau and ancestors) and co-learn as part of a relaxed, fun and supportive learning environment.

“Wiremu has been great in terms of tailoring the course to the needs of the participants and running it at a pace allowing for plenty of time for open dialogue and questions. The use of different learning media and activities to encourage participant interconnection throughout the course has made it an engaging and enjoyable experience. I would recommend the course to anyone – either purely as a personal development opportunity or coupled with the opportunity to help improve connections in the working environment.”  Aaron Stafford, National Corporate Accounts Manager, Ballance Agri-Nutrients Ltd
